This exclusive eight-day, seven-night flower-viewing itinerary in Changsha, Hunan, is designed for international flower enthusiasts. It highlights four stunning floral themes—cherry blossoms, peach blossoms, rapeseed flowers, and azaleas—while seamlessly blending cultural experiences with leisure activities. Guests will enjoy a relaxing pace, staying at the Tongcheng Luxshan Hotel, conveniently located near the Yuelu Mountain scenic area. With mild March temperatures ranging from 8°C to 17°C, this season offers the perfect backdrop for outdoor exploration and photography.

Daily Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Changsha & Initial Cherry Blossom Exploration

Morning: Airport pickup, hotel check-in, and a brief itinerary introduction. 

Afternoon: Visit Xiaoyuan Park, a charming mini cherry blossom garden in the city center. Dress in light-colored outfits for stunning photos and enjoy a limited-edition cherry blossom-themed cup at Tea Yan Yue Se.

 

Day 2: Hunan Botanical Garden (Cherry Blossoms, Tulips & Azaleas)

Morning: Arrive before 8:00 AM to capture breathtaking aerial shots of the vibrant tulip carpet, featuring 600,000 tulips at the World Famous Flower Plaza. Admire the cherry blossom lake, home to 3,000 Yoshino cherry trees, resembling waves of pink.

Afternoon: Stroll through azalea gardens before unwinding with a traditional foot therapy session at Yierkang. 

Evening Free Activity: Explore Wuyi Commercial Circle, including IFS International Financial Center and Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street, for a taste of Changsha’s dynamic nightlife.

 

Day 3: Wan’an Home Culture Park (Immersive Cherry Blossom Experience)

Day 4: Jiangbei Town Rapeseed Flower Fields & Cultural Exploration

 Morning: Travel to Wufu Village in Jiangbei Town, where vast rapeseed fields create golden landscapes. Engage in field sketching or participate in a T-stage fashion show (subject to availability). Capture picturesque “time-travel” scenes near the historic Zhi Character Tower.

Afternoon: Visit Magu Well Winery to experience traditional Hunan winemaking. Indulge in local delicacies such as steamed preserved meats and Jiangbei duck at a rustic farmhouse.

Day 5: Heimi Peak National Forest Park (Peach Blossoms & Nature Retreat) 

All Day: Hike through Heimi Peak’s stunning ten-mile peach blossom forest, terraced fields, and ancient temples. Enjoy a scenic picnic at a caravan base, with optional activities like bamboo weaving or mountaintop coffee tasting.

Evening Free Activity: Choose between a hotel spa session or a visit to an outdoor bar such as HIB HUB Community.

 

Day 6: Yangsha Wetland Park
