D2  Guangzhou   Foshan  Zumiao   Martial Lion Performance   Wong Fei-hung martial artist

 

 Arrive GuangZhou Airport, Pickup, FoShan half day trip. Foshan is a cultural hub, with many historic sites, temples, and traditional arts such as lion dance and martial arts. After lunch, we are going to Zumiao to see "Martial Lion Performanceand Wong Fei-hung was a Chinese martial artist and physician who lived during the late Qing dynasty. After that, we will check in hotel, have a good sleep.

Liang Garden is one of the most classic private ancient gardens locating at the city's CBD.Shawan Ancient Town, a place that brings you back to 200 years ago, was a prosperous town in China at the end of the Qing Dynasty.

Shuangfeng Village is a traditional Tujia settlement known for its rich ethnic culture and hospitality. Visitors are warmly welcomed with the Tujia wine greeting ritual, where hosts offer homemade rice wine as a sign of respect and friendship.

In the evening, we will arrange a lively Tujia dance party, where you can experience the vibrant rhythm of hand-waving dance alongside local performers. Join in the celebration, enjoy the traditional music, and immerse yourself in the warm and festive atmosphere

 

D7 Shuangfeng Village Buermen Spring SPA 

 The Tujia wedding ceremony is a unique and vibrant cultural tradition that reflects the rich heritage of the Tujia people. The ceremony is filled with joyful singing, dancing, and wine toasts, creating a lively and festive atmosphere.

Buermen Spring SPA is a hidden gem in Xiangxi, offering a serene retreat surrounded by lush mountains and natural hot springs. Known for its mineral-rich thermal waters, the spa provides a rejuvenating experience that promotes relaxation and well-being.

Rebala is a Tujia language, which means "beautiful and beautiful place". Rebala was the  royal city of Jabala, the tribal leader of the Five Dynasties.Rebala is home to numerous ancient Tujia villages, with many traditional Tujia houses nestled within its landscape. It is the most well-preserved and vibrant area of authentic Tujia culture in the Wuling Mountain region, earning praise from folklorists as a "natural museum of original Tujia culture." Additionally, the Rebala Film and Television City has been recognized as China’s 33rd designated film and television filming location.

 

D10 Gumiao River Grand Canyon   18 Caves Miao Village

Gumiao River Grand Canyon is a breathtaking natural wonder in Xiangxi, featuring towering cliffs, lush forests, and crystal-clear waters. The canyon is renowned for its dramatic landscapes, deep gorges, and hidden waterfalls, making it a paradise for nature lovers and adventurers. Visitors can enjoy rafting, hiking, and exploring ancient rock formations while immersing themselves in the region’s pristine beauty.

Nestled within the canyon is the 18 Caves Miao Village, a mysterious and well-preserved settlement of the Miao ethnic group. The village is named after the 18 natural caves that have provided shelter and protection for generations of Miao people. Rich in cultural heritage, it offers visitors a chance to experience traditional stilted houses, Miao embroidery, folk music, and ancient customs. The village’s secluded location and unique architecture make it a fascinating destination for those seeking an authentic glimpse into Miao culture and history.

 

D11 Aizhai Bridge  Tianwen Tai platform -- Deram Canyon

The Aizhai Bridge is one of the world’s highest and longest suspension bridges, spanning the breathtaking Dehang Grand Canyon in Xiangxi. Walking across the bridge or standing on its glass observation platform provides a thrilling experience, making it a must-visit for adventure seekers and photography enthusiasts.

Perched on a mountaintop with a stunning 360-degree view, Tianwen Tai Platform is a perfect spot for stargazing and taking in the natural beauty of Xiangxi. The name "Tianwen" (meaning "Heavenly Inquiry") reflects the site's connection to ancient Chinese astronomy and mythology

 

D12 Deram Canyon(waterfall and show 3pm)

Deram Canyon is known for its dreamlike scenery, where floating clouds, lush greenery, and tranquil rivers create a surreal and almost fairy-tale-like ambiance. Visitors can explore scenic trails, encounter local ethnic culture, and experience the harmonious blend of nature and tradition in this enchanting landscape.

The nearby Zhes Deut Hangd is renowned as the homeland of Miao drums, celebrated for its rich cultural heritage. In this community, people of all ages cherish "jumping songs," a traditional blend of dance and music. Over generations, it has been the birthplace of three Miao drum kings. For centuries, the Miao people have used song as a medium for communication, guiding their daily lives and expressing their joys and sorrows through song and dance. 

 

D13 Phoenix Ancient Town

Ancient Town or Phoenix Ancient Town is reputed as "the most beautiful town in China" and "Town in a Picture". Built in 1704, this old town was given the title of the "National AAAAA Tourist Attraction" for its charming scenery of multiple ancient sites of towers, bridges, streets, and other buildings as well as the rich culture of Miao, Tujia and other 26 minority ethnic groups.

 

D14 Phoenix Ancient Town

(Tie-dye) Xiangxi Phoenix County blue calico is made of indigo dye extracted from pure natural plants and the oldest hollow flower printing and dyeing process, and its technical process is complex, including mounting, drawing, engraving, oiling, seasoning, scraping, dyeing, drying, washing, rolling cloth, grinding and other processes. There are two types: pure blue cloth printing and dyeing and color blue cloth printing and dyeing. The former cloth surface is plain and clean, without pattern patterns, and is generally used for clothes and headbands; The latter is rich in patterns and patterns, exquisitely conceived, noble and superior in quality, and is generally used for quilt surfaces, cushion sheets, eaves, skirts, waists, door curtains, tablecloths, cloths, etc., which is a good product for art appreciation, collection and research.
